Studying at home by distance learning with ICPPD has many benefits including: - no travel - study in your own time at your own pace - do the assessments on your own without exam pressure - catch up on previous training - add to your qualifications and skills while you continue to work.
All tutors on distance education programmes at ICPPD are qualified and experienced professionals in their field and interested in facilitating adult learning.
Our Certificate Courses can be completed over six to nine months –each certificate course comprises of six units. Reading material and assessments will be sent to you on completion of the previous unit. These courses are at foundation level and are not professional qualifications.
Course Structure:
The following is the course structure for all our distance education courses:
- Each course is divided into six units.
- A unit will be sent to you by email or post within two weeks from the date you join the course unless requested otherwise.
- Each unit comprises reading material, together with two written assignments.
- The assignments relate directly to the reading material. They will include short factual answers, personal responses to the reading material, personal development exercises, etc.
- Your tutor will be available by phone, letter or email to assist you if you have any difficulties- either with the course content or the assignments.
- The assignments will be graded by your tutor and returned to you within two weeks.
- On average the course will require three- four hours reading per week.
Fee: The fee for all Distance Education Courses at ICPPD is €450.00
